Class types

If you have never done Taoist Tai Chi Society tai chi chuan before

We recommend you choose a class from the Beginner Classes list for your Branch area.
Classes scheduled to start soon (soon after the date of the list) are marked New; these are classes that you can join now or in the near future - note that new members can still join a class up to a few weeks after the start date. See the Beginner Classes for your Branch area, or Contact Us for details.
Taster Classes are sometimes run in the weeks leading up to a new Beginner Class, and can be thought of as an alternative way to try out what we offer.
People with chronic illnesses, limited mobility, or those who are recovering from injuries, may also benefit from Health Recovery Classes where available.

If you have already started a Taoist Tai Chi Society tai chi chuan beginners class

We recommend you attend that class regularly.
If you wish, you may attend other classes that have reached a broadly similar stage through learning the Set. Classes at your stage are likely to be those that started around the same time as yours. See the Beginner Classes for your Branch area, or ask your Instructor. Some branches have regular practice sessions to which all members are welcome. Ask your instructor for details.

If you have been doing Taoist Tai Chi Society tai chi chuan for some time

We recommend you attend one or more classes from the Continuing Classes list, and attend Intensives and Workshops as listed on the News and Events page.
See the Continuing Classes list for your Branch area, or ask your Instructor. In addition, some branches have regular practice sessions to which all members are welcome. Again, ask your instructor for details.

Please note that, with the exception of the first few weeks of new classes, and some external "Taster" sessions, Taoist Tai Chi Society tai chi chuan classes and events are open to members only.
