Other Taoist Tai Chi internal arts and methods

All of the Taoist Tai Chi† internal arts and methods are deeply rooted in the Taoist spiritual tradition. Other Taoist Tai Chi internal arts include liuhebafa (Lok Hup Ba Fa) which dates to the 10th Century, as well as xingyiquan (Hsing-I), taijijian (sword) and taijidao (sabre) forms, qigong (Chi Kung), meditation, ceremonies and chanting. Like the Taoist Tai Chi internal art of tai chi chuan, all of these arts are deeply rooted in the spiritual tradition of Taoism. The Society in Great Britain is incorporating more of these arts into its programme as the organisation grows and develops.

The “methods” are the methods of training in these arts and of cultivating virtue (in a Taoist sense), in a spirit of selflessness, compassion and service to others. They also include the methods of organisation and management of the Society, which are seen as an extension of the training. Such methods have helped to establish within the Society an environment conducive to learning and helping others.
